The Community Redevelopment Agency was established
in 1995 to specifically address slum and blight within the
designated boundaries. Its focus is to aggressively pursue
redevelopment/revitalization of the district, enhance economic
vitality and livability of the redevelopment area, integrate the
downtown with waterfront activities, improve transportation
and improve the Community Redevelopment Agency
district’s physical and social quality
while preserving historical
significance.
