       City Clerks Department
       Traci Houchin, City Clerk
       The City Clerks Office serves as the liaison between the
       public and City Commission and provides related municipal
       services.
       Processed 157 Public Records requests.
       Shredded 625 cubic feet of records that met their retention
       period.
       Scanned  5,149 pages/official documents into Laserfiche.
       Prepared 37 Agendas and attended 37 official meetings.
       Recorded, transcribed and archived 154 pages of City
       Commission minutes.
         Prepared and published notices for 5 additional meetings
       other than Commission meetings.
       Advertised 21 annexations; 12 rezones; 1 vacate;  4
       Comprehensive Plan Amendments; 8 ordinances pertaining
       to City Code; 50 resolutions; 1 election; and 1 budget.
       Placed 43 legal advertisements in the Sanford Herald                                                 Clerk Address
       newspaper.

       The City Clerks Office coordinated the Second Annual Board
       Appreciation Dinner at the Sanford Civic Center on April 25,
       2018.
       City Clerk staff works in conjunction with the Safety
       Committee setting up and checking in staff at the annual
       Safety Incentive luncheon.                                                              Volunteer Appreciation Dinner
       Qualified ten candidates for the Primary Election that was
       held on August 28, 2018.
