AB 361 has authorized public meetings to take place via teleconference because State and Local officials are recommending measures to promote social distancing. The Rent Stabilization Commissioners, City staff, and members of the public will participate in Council Chambers located at 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard, West Hollywood, California 90069 and/or via teleconference using the Zoom platform. The meeting may also be viewed on various platforms. Members of the public who wish to comment on matters before the Rent Stabilization Commission are strongly encouraged to submit written correspondence to digarcia@weho.org no later than 2:00 p.m. on the meeting day.  Note: Written correspondence will not be read into the record during the Commission meeting; however, correspondence received by 2:00 p.m. will be forwarded to the Commissioners and posted on the City's website as part of the official meeting record. Your comments and information will become part of the official public record. If you do not want your personal information included in the official record, please do not include your address and/or phone number.

5.      APPROVAL OF AGENDA:  The Commission will approve the agenda for the                               June 23, 2022 Rent Stabilization Commission meeting.         

6.        APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The Commission will approve the minutes of the                                May 26, 2022 Rent Stabilization Commission meeting.

7.            PUBLIC COMMENT: The Rent Stabilization Commission values your comments; however, pursuant to the Brown Act, the Rent Stabilization Commission cannot act on items not listed on the posted agenda. Members of the public have three minutes to speak. This public comment period is to address the Rent Stabilization Commission on agenda items or items of general interest within the jurisdiction of the Rent Stabilization Commission. An additional public comment period is offered at the end of the meeting.  

8.            MANAGER REPORT: Acting Rent Stabilization Manager Anwar Zraikat will review the Look Ahead Calendar.

11.         NEW BUSINESS

A.   2022-23 ANNUAL GENERAL ADJUSTMENT AND RELOCATION FEES

The Rent Stabilization Commission will announce the Annual General

Adjustment effective September 1, 2022 and the new relocation fee

amounts effective July 1, 2022.

 

RECOMMENDATION: Receive and file.
