The Human Services Commission will receive information on the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authorityís upcoming 2020 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count.

 

Recommendation:† Receive and file.

 

3.†††††††† UNFINISHED BUSINESS

 

A.††††††† REPROGRAMMING 2018-19 CONTRACT SAVINGS

The Human Services Commission will make recommendations for expenditure of $131,720.58 in contract savings from the 2018-19 Social Services programs.

 

1)    Recommend the City Council approve the reprogramming of $131,720.58 in contract savings to Social Services contracts.

2)    Recommend the City Council approve an amendment to the Disability Community Resource Center contract in the amount of $5,000.

3)    Recommend the City Council approve an amendment to the JFS Nutrition contract in the amount $4,720.58.

4)    Recommend the City Council approve an amendment to the Los Angeles LGBT Centerís Senior Program in the amount of $61,000.

5)    Recommend the City Council approve an amendment to the AIDS Project Los Angeles Community Support contract in the amount of $12,000.

6)    Recommend the City Council approve an amendment to the Being Alive contract in the amount of $7,500.

7)    Recommend the City Council approve an amendment to the Los Angeles LGBT Centerís Transgender Economic Empowerment Program contract in the amount of $7,500.

8)    Recommend the City Council approve an amendment to the Los Angeles LGBT Centerís Youth Services Program in the amount of $34,000.

The Human Services Commission will receive a presentation from Seeds of Hope regarding their programming and services available to West Hollywood community members.

 

Recommendation:† Receive presentation and discuss.

 

B.† BOARD AND COMMISSION LIAISONS

††††††††††† The Human Services Commission will receive a schedule of the Cityís Advisory Boards and Commission meetings and discuss whether Commissioners are interested in acting as liaisons and representatives of the Commission.
