RULES OF DECORUM
Members of the audience shall not engage in disorderly or boisterous conduct, including the utterance of loud, threatening or abusive language, whistling, stamping of feet or other acts which disturb, disrupt, impede or otherwise render the orderly conduct of the Board meeting infeasible. A member of the audience repeatedly or continuously engaging in any such conduct shall, at the discretion of the Presiding Officer or a majority of the Board, be subject to ejection from that meeting.
Any person wishing to speak in connection with any item of business on the agenda shall first complete a speaker request slip and submit the slip to the Secretary.
No person shall address the Board without first being recognized by the Presiding Officer.
Each person addressing the Board shall do so in an orderly manner and shall not make repetitious, slanderous or irrelevant remarks, or engage in any other disorderly conduct which disrupts, disturbs or otherwise impedes the orderly conduct of the Commission meetings. Any person who so disrupts the meeting may, at the discretion of the Presiding Officer or a majority of the Board, be subject to ejection from that meeting.

The Older Adults Advisory Board is requested to approve the agenda for the meeting on November 20, 2024.
The Older Adults Advisory Board is requested to approve the minutes of the October 23, 2024 Older Adult Advisory Board meeting.
This time has been set aside for members of the public to address the Older Adults Advisory Board on agenda items or items of general interest within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Older Adults Advisory Board. Although the Advisory Board values your comments, pursuant to the Brown Act, it generally cannot act on items not listed on the posted agenda. This comment period shall be limited to 20 minutes, with three minutes assigned for each speaker.
A. JFS COMPREHENSIVE SERVICE CENTER ACTIVITIES UPDATE
Jewish Family Service Staff will provide information about recent and upcoming programs sponsored by the West Hollywood Comprehensive Services Center.
RECOMMENDATION: Receive presentation.
B. NCJW|LA RENTAL ASSISTANCE PRESENTATION
Rachel Resnick, Chief Program Officer, will provide a presentation on rental assistance and other work of NCJW|LA.
C. LOS ANGELES LGBT CENTER SENIOR PROGRAM UPDATE
Michael McFadden, Assistant Director of Senior Services, will provide an update on the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Senior Services Program.
D. WEST HOLLYWOOD BUS PASS PROGRAM UPDATE
Amy Valdepena, Human Services Specialist, will present on the West Hollywood Bus Pass Program for older adults and people living with disabilities.
4. PUBLIC COMMENT
This time is set aside for the public to address the Older Adults Advisory Board on any item of interest within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Older Adults Advisory Board that could not be heard under Item 1.E. at the beginning of the meeting.
During this time, per Section 5.7 of the Older Adults Advisory Board bylaws, any member of the Board may request that an item of business within the Board’s subject matter jurisdiction be added to a future agenda. Such requests are subject to the approval of the Board. During this time, the Board will also receive reports from its liaisons to City Commissions and Advisory Boards and will consider appointments of members as liaisons.
The Older Adults Advisory Board will adjourn to its next meeting scheduled for Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Community Meeting Room at West Hollywood City Hall, located at 8300 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90069.
