Please include your name, the phone number from which you will be calling, and which item you would like to speak on.

 

2. Join the meeting by clicking the meeting link 10 minutes prior to the start of the meeting OR dial-in via phone 10 minutes prior to the start of the meeting (the meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.) You will be placed on HOLD in the Virtual Meeting Room until the meeting begins. The Board is requested to approve the minutes of the January 12, 2023 meeting.

3.            UNFINISHED BUSINESS

 

A.   Drag Laureate Program – Memo to Council

The Board will review and approve a memo to the City Council explaining the Board’s withdrawal of support of the City’s Drag Laureate Program.

RECOMMENDATION: Review the memo, make edits as appropriate, and approve staff to send to Council.

 

4.            NEW BUSINESS

 

A.   Rainbow Key Awards – Selection of Awardees

The Board will receive a list of all nominations received for the 2023 Rainbow Key Awards and will select 5 nominees based on the City’s award guidelines.

RECOMMENDATION: Receive applications and guidelines; make recommendations for 5 individual awardees.

A.   Liaison Reports

The LGBTQ+ Advisory Board will receive reports from its Liaisons to City Commissions and Advisory Boards.

 

B.   Other Items from Board Members

This time is set aside for brief general comments, requests, memorial adjournments, and other issues of concern from members of the LGBTQ+ Advisory Board.

 

7.            ITEMS FROM THE STAFF

This time is set aside for City staff to provide information or feedback to the LGBTQ+ Advisory Board on items of interest to the Board.

 

8.            ADJOURNMENT

The LGBTQ+ Advisory Board will adjourn its meeting. The LGBTQ+ Advisory Board has been disbanded and the LGBTQ+ Commission will convene at a future day and time as specified in the bylaws.
