CATEGORY 5 - Judgments, Fines And Forfeitures F ines include revenues received from fnes and penalties imposed for the commission of statutory ofenses, violation of lawful administrative rules and regulations, and for the neglect of ofcial duty. Forfeitures include revenues resulting from confscating deposits or bonds held as performance guarantees and proceeds from the sale of contraband property seized by law enforcement agencies. Total County fnes and forfeitures totaled $2.8 million in fscal year 2020. Other revenues collected include moving violations fnes, federal forfeitures, parking fnes, library fnes, building permit fnes, confscated property, and fnes for violating local ordinances.
